Alpha

Explore life, faith and meaning.

Alpha is a 8 week course for people who are exploring Christianity or are new to faith in Jesus. Each week we eat together, watch a short video and then discuss a topic around the big questions of faith and life.

Our next Alpha course starts January 22nd at 7pm. 

  • We think that everyone should have the chance to explore faith, ask questions, and share their point of view.

    Is there more to life than this? What’s my purpose in life? Why do people pray when things get tough?

    Alpha is a chance to ask these questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, no-pressure environment. Each session includes a short film which looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation.

    Everyone’s welcome – whether you’re an atheist, a sceptic, or just curious about faith.

  • Connection
    We start every evening with a time to catch up and chat with others in the group over food.

    Talk
    Each session includes a 30-minute film. These films explore the big questions of life and unpack the basics of the Christian faith, addressing questions from Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us?

    Discussion
    One of the most important parts of any Alpha: the chance to share your thoughts and questions about the topic, and discuss in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say.
