Role Purpose
Working within the Logistics team, the Bookings Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of venue bookings at Saint Paul’s, ensuring a seamless experience for internal ministries and external clients alike. The role involves managing the church calendar, facilitating excellent communication, coordinating events, and ensuring that all bookings align with the church’s mission and values. With a heart for hospitality, the Bookings Manager will ensure that every interaction and event reflects the welcoming ethos of Saint Paul’s.
Key Responsibilities
Bookings and Client Communication
Manage the church calendar, ensuring ministry events, partner charity bookings, parish activities, and external hires are accurately scheduled without conflicts.
Respond promptly to booking enquiries, confirm availability, and provide clients with pricing and venue use terms, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout the booking process.
Build strong relationships with clients through regular contact, conducting site visits, and providing a welcoming experience to encourage repeat business and positive referrals.
Event Coordination and Resource Management
Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external suppliers to plan and deliver seamless events, coordinating staffing, production, and set-up requirements.
Ensure smooth event execution by being present onsite to address client questions, monitor logistics, and resolve any issues that arise.
Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to maintain venue equipment and resources, ensuring they are in good working condition for all bookings.
Financial Management and Reporting
Prepare accurate quotes and manage pricing structures, ensuring alignment with the church’s policies and overhead costings.
Coordinate with the Finance Manager to ensure timely and accurate invoicing for all bookings.
Maintain detailed records of bookings, client communications, and contracts, generating regular reports on booking trends and revenue for leadership review.
Team Leadership and Strategic Development
Recruit and manage teams for site cover and production support, providing leadership and ensuring high standards of service.
Assist in developing promotional materials, including brochures, website content, and venue photography, to enhance the profile of Saint Paul’s as a premium event venue.
Engage with advertising platforms to attract new bookings and expand the reach of Saint Paul’s venue services.
Flexibility and Mission Alignment
Adapt to the needs of the role, being flexible to work evenings, weekends, or additional hours as required.
Undertake any reasonable requests from leadership to support the broader mission and vision of Saint Paul’s.

Love Christmas Project: Coordinate the annual Love Christmas outreach, including volunteer management, fundraising, and logistics to distribute care packages to the community.

Job Title: Kids Pastor

A vital part of this vision is our work with children. Our Kids ministry is a growing and thriving community, nurturing children aged 0–11 in their faith and walk with Jesus. On Sundays, we welcome between 60 and 80 children in five age-based groups, supported by a committed team of around 50 trained volunteers. We are passionate about seeing children encounter God, grow in faith, and become Christ-centred leaders who influence their world.
Our midweek ministry extends to families across our community, including a well-established Stay & Play group with around 60-80 parents, carers and children and a Bumps & Babies group for expectant mum’s and those with children under 1 who encourage and pray for each other. We run weekly school assemblies at St Paul’s Primary School, where we also work closely with our school chaplain in pastoral, practical and spiritual matters.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kids Pastor to lead and grow this ministry, someone who can disciple children, support families, equip volunteers, and help shape the future of the next generation at Saint Paul’s.
Role Purpose
The Kids Pastor will oversee and grow the children’s ministry at Saint Paul’s for ages 1–11. This role combines vision, strategy, discipleship, leadership, processes management and pastoral care, with the aim of building a spiritually vibrant, relationally strong, and missionally engaged Kids community.
You will work closely with the wider team to lead Sunday and midweek ministries, pioneer new opportunities for mission and discipleship, and provide pastoral and practical support to families. You will also mentor Discipleship Year (DY) students involved in the Kids ministry, helping them grow as leaders and followers of Jesus as part of their overarching programme.
Key Responsibilities
Vision and Discipleship
Inspire and implement the vision of Saint Paul’s Hammersmith among children aged 0–11.
Shape and lead the Sunday children’s provision, overseeing five age-based groups and ensuring content is engaging, Bible-centred, and accessible.
Line manage and support Discipleship Year students serving within the Kids ministry.
Develop the new Hammersmith Club initiative for kids work at our Sunday evening service.
Collaborate on the planning of occasional all-age services, particularly at Easter, Christmas, and the church weekend.
Mission and Outreach
Develop and implement a missional strategy to reach unchurched children and families in the community.
Build and maintain strong links with St Paul’s Primary School, including leading assemblies and working alongside the school chaplain.
Support and guide children who want to get baptised.
Volunteer Leadership and Development
Train, and pastor a volunteer team of approximately 50 people, equipping them for excellent and safe ministry with children.
Provide ongoing spiritual encouragement, training, and practical support to volunteers.
Ensure all new volunteers are safer recruited as per the CofE Guidelines, safeguarding trained, and operating within our policies and procedures.
Family and Community Engagement
Build strong relationships with parents and carers, equipping them to disciple their children at home.
Be a visible and trusted pastoral presence for families in the church and wider community.
Lead Stay & Play and Bumps & Babies, creating welcoming and engaging spaces for local families.
Safeguarding and Administration
Serve as a safeguarding advocate and Children’s Champion within the life of Saint Paul’s, keeping up to date with the latest training.

Key Responsibilities
Service and Event Coordination
Plan and coordinate the administrative logistics for Sunday services, special services (e.g., baptisms), and midweek events helping manage the bookings particularly for Sundays.
Liaise with ministry teams to support the delivery of their events and activities, ensuring logistical needs are met.
Maintain event and service schedules, rotas, and logistical planning documents.
Assist in coordinating setup, refreshment orders, printed materials, and other resources required for events and services.
Oversee and coordinate refreshments for special services, Easter, Christmas, and major church gatherings.
Be present and active on Sundays to oversee the logistical running of all services, coordinating with ministry teams, volunteers, and operations staff to ensure a seamless experience for everyone attending.
Operational and Administrative Support
Ensure all necessary supplies for Sunday services, courses, and events are stocked and available.
Work alongside the Facilities, Catering, and Welcome teams to ensure a smooth experience for all guests.
Support the coordination of major annual events including the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM), Hammersmith at Home (church weekend), Christmas, and Easter events.
Administer bookings, communication, and event documentation as required.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Safeguarding and risk assesment policies.
Team and Staff Collaboration
Work closely with the Head of Logistics and Associate Vicar to ensure all services and events are delivered with excellence.
Provide administrative support to ministry teams as required, ensuring effective planning and execution of events.

Working Requirements

We’re looking for someone to sit at our front desk and be a warm, friendly face to everyone who comes into the church during the week.
You’ll help people find where they need to go, take in deliveries, and make sure the building feels welcoming and calm.

Mission and Outreach
